KRASTA 9.8.5 available

Dear subscribers and KRASTA customers,

Version 9.8.5 is available for all customers with an active support and maintenance contract at our customer's area at http://www.krasta.de (blue "login" box at top right).

KRASTA 9.8.5 includes compared to KRASTA 9.8.2 among others the following changes:

 FS#1221
Error: ASCII import aborts because of missing blank line at the end of the text.
Revision effective with 9.8.5: KRASTA now works as intended.

FS#1985
Error: Result node coordinates wrong, if inactive nodes in node list.
With the "Node Displacements" result control, node coordinates can be output. If a node list is selected in the result and inactive nodes are in the list, node coordinates may be output incorrectly as (0/0/0).
Revision effective with 9.8.5: KRASTA now works as intended.

FS#1990
Error: "Convert to simple list" creates list with multiple listed objects.
Converting a linked list into a simple list creates a list in which individual objects are present several times. If such a ( beam/node ) list is used in mass or load cases, the mass/load will be applied to the object accordingly several times. Revision effective with 9.8.5: KRASTA now works as intended.

FS#1995
Error: ASCII import from clipboard is unsuccessful if string ']]' in text.
Revision effective with 9.8.5: KRASTA now works as intended.

Error: Display Settings: Selection change under 'Proof or Result' is ignored.

FS#1964
Error: Useless file 'unnamed.kr2'.
If a freshly created system (called 'unnamed' until that point) was saved by overwriting an already existing system, a useless file 'unnamed.kr2' with the file size 0 was created in the so far current (KRASTA working) directory.
Revision effective with 9.8.4: KRASTA now works as intended.

FS#1486
Improvement in KRASTA 9.8.3: Digital signature
KRASTA is now digitally signed by us and protected against unnoticed changes by third parties.
This increases security and trust status and results in a simpler installation process with fewer queries and warnings from the operating system or virus monitors.
