KRASTA 9.8.3 available

Dear subscribers and KRASTA customers,

Version 9.8.3 is available for all customers with an active support and maintenance contract at our customer's area at http://www.krasta.de (blue "login" box at top right).

KRASTA 9.8.3 includes compared to KRASTA 9.8.0 among others the following changes:

FS#1953
New in KRASTA 9.8.3: Cross sections according to Russian standard GOST R 57837-2017.

FS#1907
Error: Modal analysis: Start via menu item "Start modal analysis..." does not consider current situation.
Revision effective with 9.8.2: KRASTA now considers the current situation.
Note: The menu item has been renamed to "Start modal analysis for current situation...".
Nevertheless, this menu item is obsolete and a Calc.-Suite should be used instead.

FS#1924
Error: Changing the beam mass factor doubled display of the beam mass (beam property).
If a beam mass is defined as a beam property, the mass balance is temporarily displayed incorrectly when the beam mass factor is changed.
Revision effective with 9.8.2: KRASTA now works as intended.

FS#1925
Error: Display of list usage in beam or node dialog may be wrong.
Revision effective with 9.8.2: KRASTA now works as intended.

FS#1942
Error: Incorrect character output in KRASTA console window due to unsuitable code page.
Revision effective with 9.8.2: KRASTA now works as intended.

FS#1442
Error: Textual load balance of combination load cases may ignore compensation load cases.
The load balance of basic load cases always takes compensation load cases into account,
The compensation load cases are always taken into account in the plot and support reactions even for combination load cases.
Revision effective with 9.8.1: KRASTA now works as intended.

FS#1870
Error: Min/Max output in text area applies only to color contours, not to border lines.
If no color contours but a border lines are displayed, 0.0 or the most recent (color contour) values are displayed.
These generally do not match the border lines display.
Revision effective with 9.8.1: The Min/Max output in the text area only appears in conjunction with color contours.

FS#1891
Error: Under Windows 7 some dialogs are not displayed correctly.
Via the menu item "Options | Administration | Dialog Positions..." you can activate the option "Avoid size adjustments (WIN 7)"
Revision effective with 9.8.1: If this option is activated, the problematic adjustments of the dialog sizes are omitted.
