KRASTA 9.7.0 available
04.08.2014Version 9.7.0 is available for all customers with an active support and maintenance contract at our customer's area at http://www.krasta.de (blue "login" box at top right).
KRASTA 9.7.0 includes compared to KRASTA 9.6.1 among others the following new features, improvements and corrections:
FS#868
New in KRASTA 9.7.0: "Inactive Beams" in situations can be considered in plot and load or mass totals.
For beams that are set inactive in situations the display can be customized. These beams can be suppressed or plotted with dashed lines. In mass and load totals masses and loads on inactive beams can be switched on and off.
Please refer to KRASTA manual, section "Inactive Beams" and "Options | Handling of inactive beams...".
FS#963
New in KRASTA 9.7.0: Option to crop the plot area automatically
When saving a plot file, KRASTA can determine the minimal plot area.
FS#1023
New in KRASTA 9.7.0: Beam Notch Case Classifications
Notch cases can be assigned to beam end sections.
Please refer KRASTA manual, section "Classifications".
FS#1075
New in KRASTA 9.7.0: Beams in different subsystems may be drawn in different colour.
When more than one subsystem exists in a KRASTA model, a colour palette can be chosen via a combo box. Beams in different subsystems are then drawn in different colours according to the colour palette.
FS#1102
New in KRASTA 9.7.0: Print file lists for repeatable print jobs
Text and plot files can be ordered in print file lists. These print file lists can be selected for printing in the print dialog.
FS#1123
New in KRASTA 9.7.0: Folders can be created below object tree branch "thin walled cross sections" and "Load Cases Th. 2nd Order".
FS#1201
New in KRASTA 9.7.0: Registration of last used standard
The last used standard for proofs of fatigue is registered and can be used as "[current Standard]" to display beam notch case classifications.
FS#1205
New in KRASTA 9.7.0: "Origin of notch case" in output formats.
In output formats for proofs of fatigue the origin of the notch case classification (cross section, beam property, default classification in proof) can be selected.
See KRASTA manual, section "Classifications".
FS#928
Improvement in KRASTA 9.7.0: Registration of window positions.
Window positions are stored for many dialogs. The window position is determined and restored relative to the (respective) KRASTA main window.
FS#1001
Improvement in KRASTA 9.7.0: Menu item "Options" is reordered.
FS#1048
Improvement in KRASTA 9.7.0: Output formats and palettes can be edited directly from the proof/results-dialog.
FS#1094
Improvement in KRASTA 9.7.0: The context menus of object tree items contain "Delete empty Folder..." if applicable.
FS#1104
Improvement in KRASTA 9.7.0: When splitting off subsystems contacts and connections are only created if they are necessary for a defined orientation.
FS#1119
Improvement in KRASTA 9.7.0: The 2nd context menu of the plot area (middle mouse button) indicates the currently active selection mode.
FS#1121
Improvement in KRASTA 9.7.0: The manual explicitly notes the standard-specific differences between "resulting utilization" and "comparison value".
FS#1149
Improvement in KRASTA 9.7.0: Creation of solver-input sets when execution a calculation suite is noticeably faster for large systems.
FS#1152
Improvement in KRASTA 9.7.0: The default direction of wind profiles is the current "up" axis of the system.
FS#1159
Improvement in KRASTA 9.7.0: The dialog for logic load cases displays the resulting number of load case permutations.
The dialog for results and proofs displays the number of load events to be evaluated.
FS#1184
Improvement in KRASTA 9.7.0: The right mouse button context menus for object types in the object tree are the same as the corresponding main menus. Thus, the same menu items are available in the object tree and the main menu.
FS#1217
Improvement in KRASTA 9.7.0: Plot or text files are enlisted in the object tree and can be displayed by double-clicks in the tree.
FS#1222
Improvement in KRASTA 9.7.0: In the help menu the manual is available in windows help (CHM) and in portable document format (PDF).
FS#1223
Improvement in KRASTA 9.7.0: The order in menu "Property | ..." and "Selection | ..." is matched.
FS#1239
Improvement in KRASTA 9.7.0: Sub-menu "List" reordered.
FS#1093
Error: Text documentation of loads: The list (object) type is put out in the dialog language instead of the output language.
Revision effective with 9.7.0: KRASTA is working as intended.
FS#1108
Error: In the edit dialog for delta-sigma output formats the output targets "load case tmax" und "load case tmin" are not available when "English" is selected as dialog language.
Revision effective with 9.7.0: KRASTA is working as intended.
FS#1111
Error: The calculation log contains random characters.
Revision effective with 9.7.0: KRASTA is working as intended.
FS#1115
Error: For plots created by "plot cross section" no page layout is assigned. This may cause a crash during printing.
Revision effective with 9.7.0: KRASTA uses the page layout of the previous print.
FS#1120
Error: The dialog to "open file" may use irregular files types instead of "*.kr2".
Revision effective with 9.7.0: KRASTA is working as intended.
FS#1128
Error: For models with more than about 10,000 beams the PAS log may show the error message "Fehler #229, Das Tragwerk hat keine zusammenhängende Struktur" and PAS crashes afterwards.
Revision effective with 9.7.0: PAS is working as intended.
FS#1130
Error: DStV-Export (2000-04) exports material gamma faulty.
Revision effective with 9.7.0: KRASTA is working as intended.
FS#1166
Error: Text documentation of lists shows "internal error: Database DBRDOJ, object does not exist lsinnr = ...".
Affected are lists of lists, when referenced lists were deleted.
Revision effective with 9.7.0: KRASTA is working as intended.
Avoidance in older versions: Edit the affected list of lists.
